We are with the Houston Recovery Initiative raising awareness and celebrating those in recovery, hoping to inspire the community to hang on to their sobriety and show them that Houston cares.
We are looking for sponsors. Please come and show your support!
We are about unity and celebrating what life is like on the other side,
and the steps people in our communities have made to overcome their struggles.
This is Texas! Nothing is small in Texas!
We are asking the city of Houston to carry the message and stand together.
5th Annual Houston Peer Recovery Festival
The Houston Recovery Initiative Work Group; Recovery Community Organizations and Peer Support is hosting its fifth annual Peer Recovery Festival.
It will take place on September 7th, 2019 at the West End Multi Service Center, 170 Heights Blvd. Houston, TX 77007.
The event time is 10am – 6pm.
All proceeds for the festival after operating expenses, are used to provide recovery support services for those who cannot afford to pay for services.
Funds will also be used to get transportation for peers to get to Dallas for the BIG TEXAS RECOVERY RALLY
on September 21st, 2019
and the NATIONAL RECOVERY RALLY
in Hartford Connecticut also
on September 21, 2019.
This annual event provides a meaningful investment in the development of peers who are affected by drugs and alcohol and mental health in our community.
In order to meet this goal, we are asking for sponsorship support. We ask that you consider a sponsorship donation that will support the recovery initiative in Houston.
We hope that we can count on you to help support this cause.
